Director, Clinical Process Improvement ProgramA prestigious healthcare system seeks an innovative healthcare leader for the position of Director, Clinical Process Improvement Program (Director). This position will be responsible for leading the organization’s clinical process improvement effort systemwide. The Director’s primary responsibility will be to promote evidence-based effectiveness throughout all clinical programs at the organization, the ongoing measurement of outcomes, and the aggregation of data into material that can be published both internally and externally. QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have a track record of successfully establishing programs to improve the quality and the standard of care. A history of building collaborative and productive teams is sought, as is a passion for performance and process improvement. A medical degree with board certification, or Ph.D. with appropriate training and experience is required, in addition to five years of post-residency or post-doctoral clinical work. Knowledge of leading quality measurement, monitoring, and improvement programs, risk management and utilization review is also necessary. The OrganizationThe organization is the largest employer in the region with more than 3,000 employees. The organization plans to embark upon a systemwide process in which clinical services participate, improve their performance, and publish results. The goal is to provide better patient care, develop a model for future physicians, and sustain the clinical research history of the organization.
