Director, Community Health Centers

Our client, a multi-institutional, not-for-profit, healthcare delivery system, seeks a dynamic healthcare leader to join the organization as Director, Community Health Centers.

This highly visible position will play a key role in strategic and facilities planning for its three Community Health Centers, and is responsible and accountable for their effective operations.  The immediate focus for the new Director will be to provide leadership for the transformation of the Centers into a patient-centered care model to achieve the goal of delivering outstanding medical care to its communities.  Reporting directly to the Vice President of Medical Specialties and Diagnostic Services and the Chairman, Department of Medicine, the Director will serve as a critical liaison between the Community Health Centers and other system entities, ensuring open communication and a collaborative culture.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, results-oriented healthcare leader with a track record of success in leading change.  Five or more years of healthcare administration experience is required and experience within an ambulatory services or physician practice management environment is a plus.  This role requires excellent leadership and communication skills, and demonstrated ability to form positive, effective physician relationships.

A bachelor’s degree is needed, with a master’s degree preferred.
