Chief Financial Officer
Chief Financial OfficerWe have an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished healthcare finance executive to assume the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at a major New England hospital. Serving on the senior leadership team, the CFO will report directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer. Primary responsibilities for this role include the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the Medical Center’s policies for finance, accounting, managed care, patient financial services, internal controls and auditing. The CFO will participate in strategic planning, ensuring compatibility with the organization’s financial capacity and fiscal performance. QualificationsThe ideal candidate will be a seasoned healthcare finance professional, possessing both analytical and strategic thinking skills. At least five years of progressively responsible financial management experience within in a hospital setting is required, in addition to a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance. An advanced degree in healthcare administration, finance or related field is preferred, as is the CPA designation. In addition to a strong track record of providing successful financial leadership, the best candidate will be an excellent communicator, consensus builder and negotiator.
