Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer
Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer We have an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished healthcare finance executive to assume the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at a major northern New England Health System. Serving on the senior leadership team, the CFO will report directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Primary responsibilities for the role include the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the System’s policies for finance, accounting, managed care, patient financial services, internal controls, and auditing. The CFO will participate in strategic planning, ensuring compatibility with the organization’s financial capacity and fiscal performance. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be a seasoned healthcare finance professional, possessing both analytical and strategic thinking skills. At least ten years of progressively responsible financial management experience within a healthcare system or hospital is required. An advanced degree in healthcare administration, finance, or related field, or a CPA designation is preferred. In addition to a strong track record of providing successful financial leadership, the best candidate will be an excellent communicator, consensus builder, and negotiator.
