Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer
Chief Financial Officer We have an outstanding opportunity for an accomplished finance executive to assume the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at a nonprofit organization in Southern New Hampshire. Serving on the senior leadership team, the CFO will report directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer.
Primary responsibilities for the role include the development, interpretation, coordination, and administration of the System’s policies for finance, accounting, managed care, patient financial services, internal controls, auditing, tax, and investments. The CFO will participate in strategic planning, ensuring compatibility with the organization’s financial capacity and fiscal performance. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be a seasoned healthcare finance professional, possessing both analytical and strategic-thinking skills. At least ten years of progressively responsible financial management experience within a complex human service, nonprofit organization is required, healthcare desired. Knowledge of post acute healthcare finance and public financing desired. An advanced degree in business administration, finance, or related field, or a CPA designation is preferred. In addition to a strong track record of providing successful financial leadership, the best candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and proven abilities with process improvement and team building. The Organization The organization is a well-established comprehensive nonprofit provider that provides high quality medical services, education, and rehabilitation for individuals with significant developmental and physical disabilities. Programs and services are provided throughout New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Maine, and New York.
