President and Chief Executive Officer We seek an accomplished and talented senior-level healthcare executive to join a highly respected healthcare organization as its President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO). This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced healthcare leader to impact the future of the organization and the communities it serves. Accountable to the Board of Directors, the CEO will provide leadership, strategic guidance, and management direction necessary to fulfill the organization’s mission. Qualifications The ideal candidate will be dynamic, visionary, and a strong, charismatic leader. Possessing high energy and integrity, he or she will be strategically oriented, with strong relationship and communication skills, and a demonstrated track record of operational and financial performance within a community- or regional-based acute care hospital setting. An advanced degree in business administration, healthcare management, or related field is required, along with at least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in healthcare management at the senior level. The Organization Our client is a leading community teaching hospital and Level II trauma center located in New England. The Hospital provides a full range of comprehensive and advanced healthcare services, with notable centers of excellence in cardiac services, cancer care, and orthopedics. Affiliated with one of the nation’s leading medical schools, the Hospital offers residency programs in primary care, internal medicine, and surgery. The Hospital’s affiliates include a home health agency, a physician multi-specialty group and practice management corporation, an imaging center, and a rehabilitation services company.
