We have an exceptional opportunity for an energetic, results-oriented physician executive to serve as Chief Medical Officer for a not-for-profit, integrated regional health system.  The System serves approximately 720,000 people in 33 communities.  Our client is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and innovative physician to contribute to the strategic leadership of the organization.  This role reports directly to the President and Chief Executive Officer and will provide medical leadership in decisions affecting each of the health system’s clinical programs, clinical practices, and medical staff.  He/she serves as a member of the Office of the President which includes the System CEO, the Hospitals Group CEO, the Hospitals Group COO, and the CFO. 

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for this position is an experienced physician leader with a demonstrated track record for providing strategic clinical leadership.  The CMO will be a dynamic physician executive who can simultaneously develop a presence and respect within the health system and effective working relationships with the hospital’s physician leaders.  The CMO will collaborate closely with the entire senior management team and medical staff leadership to promote a culture and partnership supportive of the health system’s mission, vision, and goals.
