Medical Director

Our client, a developer and manufacturer of blood glucose monitoring products, is currently seeking a dynamic, results-driven physician to provide overall leadership and strategic development as its Medical Director.  Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Medical Director is responsible for clinical trial design, development of protocols, and management of multi-center clinical trial sites.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must have a medical degree (MD), with at least 5 years of successful experience in all aspects of pharmaceutical clinical trial design, development, execution, and outcomes, including Phase I-IV.  Extensive experience with the Federal Drug Administration is desired, as is a background in endocrinology/diabetes.

Additionally, a demonstrable track record of leadership and the ability to interpret complex clinical data for agency submission and/or publication are essential to this position.

The organization is a consumer medical device company that develops and manufactures next generation blood glucose monitoring products for the diabetes market, enabling high accuracy glucose sensing.
