She has led more than one hundred fifty senior-level searches for hospitals, academic medical centers, physician organizations, and post-acute providers. Denise brings extensive professional and business experience to bear in partnering with her clients. Beginning her career as a clinician, she transitioned into management consulting, working within national and regional firms to assist corporate as well as healthcare clients. At Coopers & Lybrand, she assisted hospitals with capital planning including regulatory and financial feasibility analysis. At a boutique management consulting firm, she worked with Fortune 500 companies in hospitality, transportation, and manufacturing, assisting them in strategic planning, market analysis, business planning, and organizational redesign. Subsequently, she worked with a national post-acute company in operational leadership and regional marketing roles. Denise joined Phillips DiPisa in 2001. She is an active member of several professional organizations including the American College of Healthcare Executives. Denise holds an M.B.A. in Health Care Administration and Finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, Chicago, IL, and a B.S. from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, MI.
